FAQs
What is a “Moment” and why can I download it?
A Moment is a short, time-coded segment extracted from a longer video. It could be an automatically detected highlight (like a soundbite), a user-defined clip, or a custom sequence selected during editing. With the Instant Download feature, you can download these Moments directly—without needing to add them to your export cart. Moments can include individual shots, a sequence, a soundbite, or any user-generated or custom-trimmed clip.
Where do I see the download progress?
A download queue will appear in the bottom-right corner of your screen whenever a moment download is initiated. It displays a progress bar for each active download and a status update when the download is complete. Once all downloads are either completed or canceled, the queue will automatically disappear after two seconds.
Can I multi-select Moments and download them all at once?
Not at this time. The current version supports downloading one Moment at a time. Bulk downloads are not yet available. However, you can still export multiple moments using our cart feature. Learn more here.
What format is used for Moment downloads?
By default, Moments are downloaded in proxy format for faster performance and lighter file size. If you have permission to access the original file, you’ll be given the option to choose between proxy and original formats at the time of download. If not, the system will default to the proxy version automatically.
