Make your workspace feel just right. Our platform lets you tailor your interface experience to your personal workflow needs — from theme and language, to how your search results are displayed and how much metadata you want to see.
This guide will walk you through all available user display preferences, so you can optimize your settings for maximum speed, comfort, and clarity.
Accessing display preferences
To customize your display preferences:
Click your Settings Icon
Navigate to the “My Display Preferences” tab.
Setting theme mode: light or dark
Switch between Light or Dark Mode or match what your operating system preferences are to suit your working environment or visual comfort.
🔆 Light Mode – Ideal for bright settings and daylight use.
🌙 Dark Mode – Reduces eye strain in low-light environments.
Changes apply instantly and persist across sessions.
Setting your user interface language
Choose the language of your user interface to work in your preferred language.
Note: This changes UI text only, not metadata or content language.
Choosing your default search display views
You can personalize how search results and events appear by default:
Search Results View
🧱 Grid View: Visual-first layout, ideal for quickly scanning thumbnails.
📋 List View: Text-dense layout, perfect for scanning metadata alongside media.
Return Results Type
🎥 Media Files: Full source files returned as default.
⏱ Moments: Specific indexed clips from within files (default for faster discovery).
Video playback preferences
Control how you preview content:
Skip Preview Mode: Opens directly to video tools without preview.
Auto-Play On Open: Video starts playing as soon as you open a media file.
Metadata display settings
Tailoring which metadata fields appear in the list view allows users to surface the most relevant information at a glance, accelerating decision-making and content retrieval. Whether you’re looking to quickly verify rights, filter by project, or prioritize clips by content type, custom metadata visibility helps cut through the clutter and ensures your team is always seeing what matters most to their workflow — without having to dig.
