The Moments Gateway bridges your on-prem and cloud storage directly to Moments Lab. Your high-res masters stay exactly where they are, while lightweight proxies power AI search and discovery.
Before you start: the Moments Gateway is set up during your workspace configuration with the Moments Lab team, it isn't something you install on your own.
How it works
It connects to your existing storage. The Gateway client runs alongside your storage, whether that's a NAS, Avid Nexis, an LTO library or cloud buckets, and reads your files where they sit.
It makes proxies locally. Your high-res masters never leave your storage. The Gateway creates lightweight proxy copies and sends only those to the cloud.
You control what syncs, and when. Choose which folders or files to sync, and schedule transfers so they don't compete with your production traffic.
Your existing metadata comes with it. The Gateway reads what you already hold in CSVs, Airtable or a MAM database and maps it onto your content, so everything you've already logged stays searchable.
Once your storage is connected
Your catalog becomes searchable. Synced content is indexed by our AI, so anyone on your team can find it with keyword search, semantic search or the Discovery Agent, from anywhere.
Your editors work in their own tools. Clips are available in Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer and DaVinci Resolve, ready to drag to the timeline. Because the originals never left, renders link to your local files instead of pulling them back down.
