Incoming media lists every file uploaded to your workspace, with status icons for each processing step, so you can catch errors early and know exactly when a file is ready to use.
Find your uploads
Click Incoming media in the left navigation bar. Every file you've uploaded appears here, one line per file.
What each column tells you
Duration: length of the file.
Event: which event the file belongs to.
Program and Device: the show or production, and the capture device, tied to the file, when that information was set on the event.
User: the person who create the event in which the media is located.
Created at: when the file was uploaded.
Validated: whether the file has been approved.
Sort and filter your queue
Use the sort dropdown to show Newer media on top or Older media on top.
Use the media filter dropdown, set to All media by default, to show only approved or only unapproved files instead.
Click Refresh to pull in the latest uploads.
Check processing status
Each file's Properties column shows a row of status icons, color-coded so you can spot problems at a glance:
🟢 Green: done
🔴 Red: error
🔵 Blue: in progress
⚪ Grey: No such task on this media
white: task created, waiting to start
Three icons matter most for tracking a file's progress:
Download: whether the file has been received entirely in the platform.
Ingestion: whether the file has been ingested correctly.
MXT analysis: whether MXT has finished analyzing the file.
The row also includes a few additional icons for other actions you can take on the file directly from this view.
Good to know
A file only becomes searchable once its MXT analysis is complete.
The Validated column reflects whether the file has been approved, separately from its processing status.
