In this article, we will see the difference between all roles. First, we will have an overview of each role, and then two tables explaining what they can see and what they can do. Let's begin!

ADMIN

They are the only ones who can see all media on the platform by default, while other users will only see media in events that are shared with an organization they're in.

An admin is the only role who can create user accounts, organizations and programs.

DOCUMENTALISTS

Chief Documentalist

They can create and edit event, as well as importing media. They can edit and delete events created by people within their organizations. They also access the thesaurus.

Documentalist

They can only consult the events shared with their organizations and the media in it. They have access to the cognitive features and Thesaurus

CONTRIBUTORS

Chief Contributor

They can create events and import media for their organization. They can also edit and delete events created by users belonging to their organization.

Local Contributor

They can add media in the platform and edit them. They don't have access to cognitive tasks.

Read Only Contributor

They can consult media and collections shared with their organization as well as building carts. They can also download directly.

The restricted Read Only Contributor is a Read Only Contributor who can only see media shared with their organizations that have been approved.

GUEST

They can read media and create orders that must be approved by an admin.

The restricted Guest is a Guest who can only see media shared with their organizations that have been approved.
