The Workspace Settings page is where admins can control how the platform looks and behaves for everyone in their workspace. It’s designed to give teams a consistent experience — from display preferences like light or dark mode to which metadata fields are visible by default in search results.
In addition to display controls, Workspace Settings gives you access to tools to manage users, devices, metadata, and more.
Accessing workspace settings
To access the admin-only Workspace Settings page:
Click the Settings icon from sidebar
Navigate to the “Workspace Settings” tab.
You must have Admin permissions to access this section.
Default display preferences for all users
These settings determine how your team sees and interacts with the platform from the moment they join:
Set default theme mode
Light Mode
Dark Mode
Set default user interface language
Choose the language for your user interface
Set default search and results display
Control how search behaves and how results appear:
Default search results view
Grid View
Row View
Default results type
Media Files – Show full video files by default
Moments – Show indexed clips (recommended for fast discovery)
Set default video playback preferences
Choose how videos behave when opened:
Auto-Play on Open: ON / OFF
Skip Preview Mode: Skip straight to editing and export tools
Set default metadata visibility settings
Decide what metadata fields are visible to users by default in the media list search view.
Restoring workspace defaults
If you want to reset the workspace to its initial defaults, you can do so by clicking:
“Restore Workspace Settings” (bottom of the page)
This will reset all display, language, and metadata setting
