How to review and approve a download request from a Guest

When a guest user submits a download request from a project, you'll be notified to review and approve it. Once approved, a ZIP file is generated and the guest receives an email with their files ready to download.


Get Notified

When a guest submits a download request, you'll be notified in two ways:

  • By email — you'll receive a message describing the request, including the project name and the content the guest has selected, with a direct link to review it.

  • In the platform — a badge will appear in the Download requests section of your workspace, inviting you to open and review the pending request.


Review the Request

Open the request from either the email link or the Download requests section. From there you can:

  • See the full list of content the guest has selected

  • Preview the items included in the request

  • Check the status of each item (approved, pending)

Take the time to review the selection before approving — once approved, the ZIP file generation begins immediately.


Approve the Request

Once you've reviewed the request, click Approve to confirm it. The platform will then:

  1. Generate a ZIP file containing all the selected content.

  2. Send the guest an email notification inviting them to download their files.


Managing Multiple or Pending Requests

The Download requests section gives you a central view of all download requests in your workspace — both pending and approved. You can use this space to track the status of ongoing requests and follow up if needed.


Need to Know

If a guest needs to make changes to their selection after submitting a request, they can cancel it and resubmit — you'll receive a new notification when the updated request is ready for review.
