If you're sending media in bulk, uploading via S3 is a lighter alternative to uploading through the platform. We recommend Cyberduck, a free FTP client, though other S3-compatible tools like WinSCP also work.
Here's how to download it, set up your connection, and start uploading.
Download Cyberduck
Go to the Cyberduck website and download the version for your operating system.
On Mac: Once the download and the zip extraction is complete, drag the Cyberduck application into your Applications folder.
On PC: Once the download is complete double click on the .exe file and follow the instructions.
2. Open Cyberduck to get started.
Set up your connection
Contact our Support team first. They'll give you your Access Key ID, Secret Key and access path.
Open Cyberduck and go to File > New Browser.
2. Click the + button in the bottom left corner.
3. Select Amazon S3 from the server dropdown, name the connection (optional), then enter the Access Key ID, Secret Key and path from Support.
You can also set the connection name in “More Options” in the Nickname field
4. Once you've completed the information, you can close the window. In your 'New Browser' window you should see an icon appear, titled as the name entered in “Nickname” in the previous step. Double click on this icon to connect.
Upload your media
Once connected, there are two ways to upload:
Drag individual files: select one or more files and drop them into the watchfolder.
Drag a folder: drop a folder containing your media directly into the watchfolder. This creates a mission automatically, with your media already inside.
Once they're uploaded, open the Events section. A banner appears at the top letting you know new files are ready, click it to expand and see your uploaded media.
Select the media, a white pop-up bar appears at the bottom of the screen with several options:
Move to current event (if you're on a specific event page)
Move to another event.
Delete it.
